National protected areas in Croatia have not been categorized according to the IUCN categorization yet. However, based on the description, national category "Park prirode" could be assigned to IUCN category V.
Monitoring of Gentiana pneumonanthe started in 2011, but the grassland was mown in 2015 (so 2015 is stated as the first year of the project). Conservation actions consist of mowing of grassland in order to increase a number of Gentiana pneumonanthe plants. This species is a feeder plant of butterfly Phengaris alcon alcon, that also depends on the Myrmica ant hosts. Number of individuals is monitored.
Conservation action is carried out by the Public institution and financed from the state budget.
