About

ConservePlants Database on Conservation Actions in Europe compiles data about specific conservation activities undertaken to help a threatened plant species to survive. Namely, increasing habitat and biodiversity loss requires more and more specific conservation activities supporting the survival of threatened plant species in the wild. This database is intended for plant conservationists of different backgrounds, as a way for the exchange of useful information, knowledge and experience among them. It was created in the frame of the COST Action CA18201 ConservePlants, through the survey distributed through emails and Google Forms. It provides different types of information about each action, including data about the locality where the action took place, project, and institutions involved in it, financial aspects, plant species and their habitats, types of actions implemented, success and outcome of the actions.

Online access to the database is free of charge.

The database will be updated regularly, with the aim to become an important source of information for future practical conservation activities. If you would like to become the contributor, a free registration is required.
